Regarding the inspection items of the relay, such as appearance size, leg length, quantity, status (whether it is straight or bent), too much glue and too little glue, exposed wires, etc., it is impossible to check stably and accurately using 2D vision. 3D contour detection is required. For example, a 3D structured light camera is used to obtain fine point cloud data of the outer contour of the object being inspected, and compared with the normal outer contour, to determine whether it is OK.
For the appearance of printed fonts, dirt, stains, etc., a 2D machine vision system is used to obtain pictures, and algorithms such as image enhancement, AI algorithm, and OCR are used to analyze the printing quality or stains.
High-speed inspection of the appearance of relays or other components requires 3D and 2D data from all aspects, and comprehensive analysis can make accurate judgments. At the same time, it is combined with automatic loading and unloading and multiple groups of simultaneous inspections to achieve increased production capacity and automation.
