Composite robots are collaborative robots mounted on AGVs. They can provide movement (AGV), automated work (collaborative robots), and are equipped with required supplies and supporting equipment (such as trays, tooling, automatic mechanisms, etc.). Navigation technology cooperates with vision, 3D provides precise work positioning, and the modules mounted on the robot work automatically (such as suction chucks, test heads, etc.). It can work together with others and does not need to set up material fences to automatically ensure safety.
Using composite robots to extend the robot's working stroke, compared with the traditional use of ground axes, can flexibly allocate production capacity between machines in path planning, work collaboratively with people or independently, adapt to different configuration changes, and provide sufficient flexibility. There are low requirements for the layout of the factory building.
