Overall design of equipment:

1) Pick and place the host:

 

1.1) Includes: high-speed XYZ (or robot optional), 4 sets of vacuum placement heads (with angle adjustment mechanism) and 4 sets of non-adjustable angle suction heads, 1 set of upper vision, 1 set of lower vision, control computer, control software

1.2) The operation process is: the system picks up ICs or labels at the pipe discharging point (picks up 4 ICs), and moves to the lower vision position to detect the XY of each IC (or label) one by one. Offset and angle Offset, adjust the position, move to the completed burning holder, label it, turn the burning holder to open, suck up the completed IC (non-adjustable angle suction head), then put in the IC to be burned (adjustable angle suction head), then move to the IC collection place to put the completed IC, and move to the IC supply place to pick up the IC

1.3) The function of the upper vision is that when the programming carriage is pushed in and the management cart is put in, it moves to the programming position, automatically detects each programming carriage and the position of the feeding, receiving and labeling feeder, and automatically compensates for its XY offset. Realize intelligent and quick product switching


2) Burner car

 

2.1) The device burning socket is installed when the programmer cart is offline, which does not affect the production time. For example, if you install 5 corresponding burning carts based on the 5 most frequently made products, you don’t have to worry about replacing them.

2.2) When replacing products, directly push the programming carriage into the equipment, fix it, and then run a position correction program, and the XY of each programming carriage will be automatically detected visually. offset, no other manual action is required

2.3) The burning station car is directly equipped with a computer that controls each burning station. You only need to connect the communication signal line to the host.

2.4) The burning carriage can be used alone as a manual pick-and-place burning machine when the equipment fails.

2.5) To add workpieces to the programmer, you can use a cylinder or XYZ paddle to drive the original wrench on the programming base to clamp and loosen the IC.


3) IC pipe automatic pick-and-place vehicle

 

3.1) The function of the IC tube material truck is to retract and release ICs and automatically replace Tubes.

3.2) The retractable and retractable IC can be adjusted within a certain range. If the difference is different, replace it with another model of car.

3.3) If it is not IC pipe material, such as Tray, tape and reel material, etc., the configuration adaptation of the supply truck can be configured accordingly.

3.4) Can be configured offline and does not take up working time

1) Are the current manual burners compatible?

  

OK. The programmer is generally well-equipped and does not need to be changed due to the use of automated equipment. Of course, in order to enable automated operations, some changes are required. For example, if the lid flips up, it needs a cylinder to flip up automatically, it needs a button to open, it needs to be pressed by a robot hand, etc.

 

Another one is how to read the programming status and information of the IC. Automated equipment is equivalent to replacing manual manual operation of the burner. Therefore, software connections, image screenshots, camera shots, etc. can be used to detect the running status of the burner software, and then intelligently control the operation according to the situation.

 

2) How to quickly replace products?

 

The burning socket is configured into a relatively fixed burning cart according to different products. When changing products, the burning cart can be directly replaced, and then the relevant program can be called. The automated system will use machine vision to automatically detect the installation deviation of the burning car and automatically compensate for it.

 

3) What feeding and receiving methods can be supported?

4) Can it support labeling and marking?

 

OK. In principle, marking is different from material supply, and the principle of IC material supply and collection is the same, but the specific form is different, and it can be done together on the supply truck.

 

5) Is it better to use robot or XYZ servo for placement?

 

All are possible. Generally speaking, XYZ motion servo is cost-effective, moves quickly, and the robot is more flexible. Although the 6-axis robot moves slightly slower and is more expensive, it still has some advantages if the stroke to be taken care of is relatively large, such as the configured burner and the feeding truck are relatively large. So this depends on the specific situation.

 

6) Can different ICs be programmed at the same time?

 

OK. The principle is no different from burning only one type.

 

7) What is the general process required to replace a product?

 

Generally, the burning car (equipped with a configured burner) is replaced, the material supply and receiving car (including taping machine, marking and labeling machine, etc.) is replaced, the program is loaded, the position is automatically detected and compensated, and then work can be started. The programming cart and material cart are configured offline in advance, so that the replacement speed is faster.

 

8) Is the IC extracted by vacuum? Is there any other way?

 

Generally, vacuum suction is used. Of course, if vacuum suction is not feasible, the clamping method can also be used, which can be switched according to the specific situation.

 

9) How many suction heads and vision systems are generally configured?

 

Generally equipped with 4 sets of suction heads with angle compensation, they are used to place the IC into the fixture. 4 sets of tips without IC are used to take out and put back the completed IC. Generally, there are 1 or 2 sets of XY Offset and Angle Offset of the lower vision detection IC. Of course these can be changed according to the customer's specific requirements and budget.

 

10) Can it be equipped with existing taping machine equipment?

11) Can some automatic appearance detection be done? Such as PIn skew, printed characters etc?
